How does Calorad MG work?

Calorad MG is an all natural collagen protein product. Collagen protein supports the lean muscle tissue, lean muscle burns fats and sugars. Calorad MG is actually assisting your body with its natural burning of fats and sugars by building the lean muscle tissue.

Why take Calorad MG at night?

The most effective time to take Calorad MG is immediately prior to going to sleep. During the first phase of our sleep time, the absorption rate takes place more readily when taken on an empty stomach. When the Calorad MG is taken on an empty stomach, it is absorbed quickly, and available to assist the lean muscle with the natural process of burning fats and sugars during the different phases of sleep.

 

How do I know I have an empty stomach?

Three hours is the ideal time to insure you have digested any food or beverage you may have consumed. A light meal may take less time; however, three hours is an accepted time frame for food to be digested.

 

Can I drink anything during the 3 hours prior to bed time?

It is recommended to only drink water or water with lemon during the 3 hour period. While there are no interactions with any beverages, your stomach will not be considered empty, decreasing the effectiveness of your Calorad MG.

 

Will it hurt me if I take the Calorad MG® without waiting 3 hours after eating?

NO! The Calorad MG will not interact with or result in any negative side effects if you do not have an empty stomach. The Calorad MG will not be as effective if your stomach is not empty because it is not absorbed as well.

 

If I do not wait 3 hours after eating to go to sleep, is it better to skip the Calorad MG?

NO! It is better to take the Calorad MG before you go to sleep to keep it in your system. If you do not take the Calorad MG at night then take it in the morning along with the recommended water. Wait 30-45 minutes before you eat or drink then resume your Calorad MG that same night.

 

Will the Calorad MG® hurt me if I drink alcohol?

NO! There are no interactions or side effects with alcohol consumption when taking the Calorad MG®; however, if you drink any beverage other than water or water with lemon during those 3 hours prior to bedtime, you will not absorb the Calorad MG effectively.

 

Will the Calorad MG react with any of my medications?

NO! Because Calorad MG has no drugs, caffeine, or stimulants, it does not interfere with any medication. Keep in mind, anything other than water or water with lemon can keep your stomach from absorbing the Calorad MG as effectively. While the Calorad MG will not interfere with medication, medication taken at bedtime can interfere with the effectiveness of the Calorad MG. DO NOT CHANGE YOUR MEDICATION DOSAGES WITHOUT CONSULTING WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN! If you are taking medications at bedtime that can be taken earlier, please do so for best benefits.

 

Will the Calorad MG® keep me awake?

NO! Many of our customers find they sleep better and wake easier. Keep in mind, Calorad MG has no sedatives or stimulants. Because collagen protein is utilized by your body in many ways, your systems work better, bringing about an overall wellness.

 

How long has collagen protein been used for weight loss and wellness?

Collagen protein has been safely used for over 25 years for wellness and weight loss.

 

What is the source of the collagen protein in Calorad MG?

The collagen protein in Calorad MG® comes from beef. The beef is safe and has no health risks for consumers. With strict health inspections and testing, the beef used in Calorad MG is certified to be BSE free (free from Mad Cow Disease).

 

Will the Calorad MG interfere with any of my medications (birth control, blood pressure, cardiac medications, blood thinners…)?

NO! Because Calorad MG has no drugs, caffeine or stimulants, it will not interfere or interact with any medication.

 

How can Calorad MG help with other medical conditions?

Because collagen protein is utilized by our body’s systems (circulatory and respiratory), many customers see improvement with related medical problems. Many of our customers have decreased pain related to joint conditions. Keep in mind, results vary from customer to customer with weight/inch loss and even wellness benefits.

Do I have to change my diet?

Is this product animal tested?

Who cannot take Calorad MG?

We, however, do not recommend Calorad MG to babies, children who have not yet reached puberty, pregnant women or nursing mothers. Also, if you have a thyroid problem that is NOT controlled with medication, you may experience trouble losing weight with this product.

 

What is the recommended program to start with?

We recommend that everyone start with the 90-day program, simply because one month is not an indication of what individuals may continue to do according to their weight loss goals. Twenty-four percent of the dry protein weight of the human body is collagen. The primary amino acid in collagen is L-hydroxyproline, a non-essential amino acid. Non-essential does not mean that the human body does not require it for good health. A healthy body, with good digestion and an adequate supply of essential amino acids, can manufacture the required non-essential amino acids.

 

Remember, fat is stored energy. When we are young we have a faster metabolic rate which assists our bodies in producing energy to build muscle, bone and maintain good health while we sleep. As we get older, this process slows down. Our bodies no longer function in this manner or produce the collagen or amino acids required to keep our skin looking radiant or our bodies tight and strong.

Collagen Hydrolysate is the main ingredient in Calorad MG®.

Collagen is a protein rich formula containing the following amino acids:

1. Glycine

2. Proline

3. L-Hydroxyproline

 

Although these are considered non-essential amino acids, they are necessary for proper function and growth of the muscle tissues in the body.

Collagen and reticular fibers contain the protein collagen. Collagen is very tough material and these fibers impart great strength to structures in which they occur (meat is tough because of its collagen content). The tensile strength of collagen has been compared to that of steel. When collagen is hydrolyzed (water is added under a special process changing it to hydrolyzed collagen), collagen is then converted into soluble protein gelatin. Collagen is a fibrous insoluble protein found in the connective tissue, including skin, bone, ligaments and cartilage. Collagen represents about 30% of the total body protein. Without adequate dietary proteins in the body, the body cannot produce antibodies against disease organisms; therefore resistance (immunity) levels are lowered.

When protein intake is inadequate, the liver cannot manufacture sufficient plasma proteins to maintain a balance between the fluids in the blood and tissues. As a result fluid accumulates in the tissues. The recommended daily amount of protein is 58 grams (0.8 grams per Kg of body weight per day) or 25% or the daily diet.

 

Glycine:

A simple amino acid needed for the synthesis of the hemoglobin molecule. Collagen and glutathoine can be converted to creatine, which is utilized to make DNA and RNA.

1. Useful in healing wounds.

2. Useful in treating manic psychological states.

3. Useful in problems of muscle spasticity.

4. Considered useful in reducing gastric acidity.

5. In high dosages, 4-8 grams, glycine stimulates the release of human growth hormones.

6. It is used as a mild sweetener in foods and drugs

7. It is extremely important in brain metabolism: energizing without hyperactivity.

 

Proline:

1. Main amino acid in collagen.

2. Helpful in the formation and maintenance of bone, skin, and cartilage formation.

3. Found in eggs, dairy products, some meats and wheat germ.

4. Can be created from glutamine and ornithine.

5. Helpful in maintaining healthy joints and tendons: aids in tissue repair following injury and wound healing.

 

Hydroxyproline:

1. An important component of collagen which makes up the fibrous connective tissue and is a part of the skin, bones and cartilage.

2. Is converted from proline by hydroxylation only after proline gets into the amino acid chain that forms body proteins.
